Carl Requette (1902-?) est un fonctionnaire qui a été en charge de la liquidation du Comité belge des rapatriés après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, en 1948. Ce Comité avait pour mission d'enquêter sur les personnes disparues ou ayant fuit à l'étranger à cause de la guerre. Il remplit cette mission jusqu'en 1963. Parallèlement, il fait carrière au SPF Finances. Il devient Président du Comité d'acquisition de Bruxelles entre 1957 et 1967, fonction par laquelle il a contribué à l'urbanisation de l'Ouest de la commune encore largement rural.
