Le Troubadour chantait des poèmes en s'accompagnant musicalement. Il passait ainsi de châteaux en châteaux pour répandre les valeurs de la société courtoise. Lorsque l'avenue Charles Quint fut créée, la commune a souhaité faire revivre le passé médiéval de la région. (remark in French, as published)
