Il semblerait que le terme Renouveau ne soit pas correct. En néerlandais, l'avenue porte le nom de 'Herleving' qui signifie plutôt la renaissance, la reprise (sans référence au courant intellectuel italien). Etant donné que cette avenue mène au cimetière, nous pensons que c'est plutôt en ce sens qu'il faut comprendre le nom de la rue. (remark in French, as published)
