Guillaume Abeloos (1895-1944) est un secrétaire communal qui aida à la résistance à l'occupation lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, notamment en distribuant de faux documents officiels avec Albert Jonnart (des tickets de ravitaillement ou des contre-ordres évitant le travail forcé par exemple). Il fut arrêté par la Gestapo et mourut à Flossenburg. (remark in French, as published)
