Jacques Pasteur (1659-1723) est fils de garde forestier, il devint général pour le roi de France après avoir combattu sous la couronne d'Espagne. Originaire de Roussart près de Waterloo, son nom est resté attaché à la forêt de Soignes, où il fit notamment construire un fort qui portera son surnom 'Fort-Jaco'. (remark in French, as published)
