L'origine du nom Montjoie reste vague, mais la plus plausible est sans doute qu'on a repris l'enseigne d'une auberge 'Au Montjoie' qui se trouvait au début du XXe siècle près de du vélodrome de l'avenue Churchill. (remark in French, as published)
