René Comhaire (1897-1943) vivait à Berchem-Sainte-Agathe. Lorsque la guerre a éclaté, il s'est lancé dans la résistance, notamment en fournissant des informations, alors qu'il était chef de groupe du service ABC. Il fut arrêté et fusillé à Breendonk. (remark in French, as published)
