Lorsqu'il s'agit du nom féminin, la pastourelle est un poème lyrique qui fait référence à une bergère séduite par un chevalier. Ce terme peut aussi désigner des petits bergers insurgés, mais au vu de la localisation de la rue, il semble évident que la première explication soit plus adéquate.
