Il s'agit d'une des rues faisant partie de la cité jardin 'Les Venelles'. Construites sur l'ancien terrain de football des White stars, cette cité-jardin piétonne et accessible aux personnes avec un handicap s'inspire de la cité jardin 'L'Amitié' dans la commune.
