Auguste-Joseph Dumon (1819-1892) possédait les terrains, ainsi que le château Dumon qui se situait là. C'était un homme politique libéral. Ses terrains seront cédés en 1924. Il y avait là le stockelsche Vloedgroebbe qui prenait sa source, il y avait de nombreux potagers et le terrain était marécageux. (remark in French, as published)
