Adolphe Lavallée (?-?) fut fonctionnaire des ponts et chaussées. En 1907, la rue a reçu le prénom de Adolphe, car auparavant elle ne comportait que le nom de famille. Il fut demandé au conseil communal d'ajouter un prénom car il existait une “rue de la Vallée” à Bruxelles, portant à confusion. Il n'a jamais été certain cependant de l'identité de cet Adolphe Lavallée… (remark in French, as published)
