Carloo et Calevoet sont d'ordinaire associé à la présence de Charlemagne dans la commune. Artère très ancienne. Connue dès 1447 sous le nom de 'Volreyerstrate', 1741, rue de la Vallée. Doublon topnymique et donc changement. Les seigneurs de Carloo avaient également construit une chapelle, sur laquelle la première église d'Uccle fut construite, sur les ruines desquelles l'actuelle église Saint-Job fut construite.
