Fernand Brunfaut (1886-1972) était architecte. Il est à l'origine de nombreux bâtiments, tels que la maison de peuple de Dinant, le siège du journal 'Le Peuple' à Bruxelles, ou les cliniques Cesar de Paepe pour n'en citer que quelques uns. Il fut actif dans le projet de la jonction Nord-Midi et s'engagea en politique à Laeken puis à Bruxelles-Ville. Il s'est fortement dédié aux constructions et réglementations de logements sociaux. ex. rue du Billard. (remark in French, as published)
