Fridtjof Nansen (1861-1930) est un explorateur polaire et homme politique norvégien. Il a reçu le prix Nobel en 1921 pour son travail auprès de la Société des Nations en faveur des réfugiés et déplacés de la Première Guerre mondiale. Il continuera de défendre les réfugiés jusqu'à sa mort, notamment en créant le passeport Nansen, passeport octroyé aux apatrides. (remark in French, as published)
