L'ancienne rue Courte fut élargie en 1900 et prit plus tard le nom d'un conseiller communal qui possédait une villa dans cette rue. Un des habitants y possédait un cimetière privé dans son jardin et il a fallu déménager les tombes vers le cimetière communal. A noter qu'un autre Labarre (Egide) fut bourgmestre d'Uccle de 1872 à 1877. (remark in French, as published)
