Père Eudore Devroye (1869-1929), membre de la Compagnie de Jésus, il devint directeur du Collège Saint-Michel en 1912. Durant la Première Guerre mondiale, le collège hébergea des résistants (notamment les éditeurs de la Libre Belgique pendant une courte période) et il se dévoua à des oeuvres charitables pour la population belge.
