La famille Van Male de Ghorain vivait dans la commune et était propriétaire de terrains situés à proximité. Le père, Laurent, décédait en 1839 et était inhumé dans un mausolée érigé pour lui dans l'ancienne église de Molenbeek. Il avait été référendaire au Conseil d'Etat. Son épouse et leur belle-fille seront également inhumées là, mais aucune trace du fils n'a été retrouvée. (remark in French, as published)
