Emmanuel Vander Linden d'Hoogvorst, né à Bruxelles à la fin du XVIIIe siècle, est un homme politique connu pour avoir rencontré le Prince des Pays-Bas avec une délégation alors que celui-ci voulait marcher sur Bruxelles avec ses troupes en 1830. Cet événement précéda la Révolution de septembre. Il fut également ministre dans le gouvernement provisoire qui suivit et bourgmestre de Meise. (remark in French, as published)
