Etienne-Constantin baron de Gerlache (1785-1871) fut, entre autre, membre du Congrès National en 1830. Il joua un rôle central dans les événements belges de 1830 et particulièrement pour la ville de Liège. Attention, hypothèse la plus acceptée mais en raison de l'absence du prénom, il pourrait s'agir de deux autres Gerlache… (remark in French, as published)
