Initialement rue du Parc, devenue rue du Parc Elisabeth (initialement Parc de Koekelberg puis Parc Léopold II; 1910: Parc Elisabeth) en août 1915. La rue aboutit dans le parc nommé en l'honneur de Elisabeth en Bavière (1876-1965) qui fut l'épouse du roi Albert Ier. Malgré ses origines, elle refusera avec son époux de quitter le territoire belge pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Ils se réfugieront à la Panne, et elle apportera son aide à hôpital de guerre l'Océan. Au lendemain de la guerre, elle sera surnommée 'la reine infirmière' et le roi Albert Ier 'le Roi combattant' ou 'le Roi chevalier'. Leur popularité sera grande. (remark in French, as published)
