Le Général Augustin Michel (1855-1931) a fait carrière dans l'armée et a combattu pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Il s'est ensuite investi dans le Musée royal de l'armée. Il reçut des honneurs officiels de la Belgique à sa mort et est enterré au cimetière d'Ixelles. Il a également passé un moment au Congo belge, avant 1914 (son fils y est né). Mais peu d'informations ont été trouvées à ce sujet. (remark in French, as published)
