Auguste Jorée (1810-1879) fut le directeur d'une manufacture de taffetas et de toiles à Anderlecht. Il fut également major commandant du bataillon de la garde civique d'Anderlecht et sera chevalier de l'ordre de Léopold en 1859. (remark in French, as published)
