Charles Niellon (1795-1871) est un militaire français qui s'est retiré à Bruxelles peu avant le soulèvement de 1830. Lors de celui-ci, il présentera ses services à la Belgique et combattra les Néerlandais. Il permit en grande partie la libération de Bruxelles et fut largement récompensé par le gouvernement provisoire. Il décède à Laeken. (remark in French, as published)
